CARBON FS
The CARBON FS is the ultimate breakthrough carving machine for all novice, intermediate, and advanced level skiers. It performs miraculously on hardpack and ice and can provide an exhilarating and controllable ride even at slower speeds and on slopes of very moderate pitch. Turns on firm surfaces are super easy . . . forget your normal technique and merely unweight a pinkie toe on the outside ski to immediately set both skis into a turn.
No roll of the ankle, no roll of the knee, no shift of the hips, no shift of your shoulders, no shift of your hands...just tip your toe or merely put a pound more weight on one ski than the other to start a turn
They are quick little buggers, but totally controlled. No feeling of being on "railed" skis or locked into a carve.
Just watch your surface if it's at all variable. Perfectly stable at speed and extremely obedient and responsive.
A beginner on a firm packed surface could learn carving in no time flat.
The CARBON FS performs best on recently groomed snow as well as hardpack and icy conditions. If loose or softer snow conditions will often be encountered, the CARBON GT, which has a similar geometry but a wider profile, may be the better choice. Very aggressive skiers and those above 200lbs should also consider the CARBON GT or the CARBON EX.
SPECIFICATIONS
Length: The Active Suspension makes the Antons perform and feel like skis 10 to 15 cm longer than specified.
Variable Turn Radius: The Active Suspension maintains full pressure on the tip and tail at all edge angles including 0 (flat). This supports an extremely wide range of turn shapes compared to the narrow characteristic turn shape of a conventional ski.
